Target and Phillip Lim to Debut Fall Collection

Another reason why I'm happy that Target is finally here in Canada - I can get my hands (literally) on their designer collaboration collection. No more crossing the boarder or trying to purchase them on line, like I had to do before.

Early this month, Target announced it is collaborating with designer Phillip Lim on an exclusive collection for women and men. Mark you calendar - it will be available September 15. How exciting! 3.1 Phillip Lim features a range of apparel and accessories, including bags and even travel pieces. The collection will be chic, affordable options for women and men on-the-go.

"Since an early age, I've been intrigued by the idea of design evolution," said Lim. "One of the reason I wanted to collaborate with Target is because I felt that together we could create a collection that would inspire - one that is modern and chic, but still very accessible."

I can't not wait to see what's going to be in the collection! Stay tuned.

Stuff I Wore - Layers

I do often like to add on layers when putting my outfit together. Not only to add a little warmth but also an opportunity to add some colours and a 'layer' of interest into the whole look.

For this look, I want to point out my top from Jack & Jones. It's actually a two in one top: the navy pocket T and the strip T underneath. It was sold as one but stitched together on the shoulders. However the stitch can be easily pulled to separate into TWO tees! I love the idea, this give me more ways to wear it. Plus, I got two Ts for the price of one : )

The grey long sleeve top under both of the Ts is from the Gap. The orange-red cords, my pop of colour for this outfit, are from Levis. Boots from 21Men (Part of Forever 21). Belt is also from the Gap. Watch is G-Shock from Casio. Blue bracelet from American Eagle Outfitters.

SodaStream and Kraft Launch Event

SodaStream and Kraft's new flavours.

I attended the SodaStream and Kraft launch event last week which took place at a very nice venue, the 2nd Floor Events.

2nd Floor Event

For those who's not familiar with SodaStream - it's a beverage carbonation system. It allows you to easily transform ordinary tap water instantly into carbonated soft drinks and sparkling water. This means no need to buy bottled and canned carbonated soft drinks/sparkling water anymore. You can easily make your own at home! They're also environmentally friendly, by eliminating the disposing of empty bottles/cans (note: Save 2000 bottles & cans a year!) - how great is that?!

Giant earth, Candy bar, and message I left behind " I heart bubbles!"

At this launch event Sodastream announced a new partnership with Kraft - New flavours for use in its soda-makers, providing a broader menu. The new kraft flavours are the following:
Kool-Aid: Cherry, Grape and Tropical Punch
Crystal Light: Lemonade, Raspberry Lemonade and Fruit Punch
Country Time: Goodness Country Time Lemonade and Country Time Lemonade
Both SodaStream and Kraft flavours are now available in stores.

SodaStream: a very cool looking system.

FYI - I tried the Kool-Aid Tropical Punch and Crystal Light Raspberry Lemonade, both very nice and refreshing! I'm not a big fan of carbonated drinks, but they had the right amount of fizzy-ness, I really enjoyed it! Set the bubbles free with SodaStream!

I had a good time: a great venue, nice people, drinks and a candy bar, you can't ask for anything more. Cheers!

Stuff I Wore - Comfy Day

I'm starting a new posting segment on my blog! It called 'Stuff I Wore'. If you've be following, I've kind of been doing it before on Instagram. However, I've decided to include more pics and details about the outfit. For example, info like where I got the items, reasons I got them, and if I remembered, will even include the cost. Since I always keep an eye out for great deals! Note: I hardly ever buy anything at regular price. And yes, I do have LOTS of clothes! : )

It'll be lots of fun (for me) sharing my love for fashion, and a chance to be a model. FYI, not an easy job - lol.

I love clothes and putting together outfits. Hope you'll enjoy them and hopefully my outfits will somehow inspire you in some way : ) Please let me know what you think. I would love to hear from you, good or bad, I'm fine with that. Fashion is subjective and all about having fun!

Here it goes - this outfit was taken a few weeks back (noticed the snow). I will love to thanks my sister, she's my photographer (taken with my iphone) and art directed by me : ) Her help and patience is greatly appreciated. I can be pretty picky, lol. Enjoy!

It's one of those comfy day: hoody, jeans and sneakers.

Hoodie from Adidas, Jeans from Gap, Orange layer T from American Eagles Outfitters and sneakers from Converse.

Love this comfy grey hoodie from Adidas. Simple but the addition of the cute patch makes it fun.

Accessories: Watch from Casio, got it from the Gap, Green bracelet from Aeropostale, Belt from Bench.

FVT by Heys - Limited Edition Luggage

If you're in and around Toronto, I'm sure you've noticed all the billboards, subways and bus shelter ads from Heys. It's for their latest luggage - a limited edition series of luggage created by artist/illustrator Fernando Volken Togni. I'm a fan of his work. I love the look and style - it's my kind of luggage!

I really like the design especially the Canadian theme! I love the colours and all the icons/landmarks used that represent Canada. Canadian pride indeed! It's so fun and definitely a stand out! You can get them exclusively at the Bay or from their website. Anyone want to share the 3 piece set? : )

I'm a fan of Heys. You can always count on them to travel in style! What do you guys think of this latest luggage?
