Vans Debuts New 360™ Technology in All Weather MTE Collection

I don't want to say this, but winter is around the corner. Time to keep your feet in style yet cozy. This holiday season, Vans debuts MTE 360™ technology that enhances heat retention around the foot and improves moisture management within each shoe. 

The All Weather MTE footwear collection provides premium, water-resistant leather and suede uppers, warm linings and a heat retention layer between the sockliner and outsole. Inspired by Vans’ 20-plus years of snow boot design innovation, a durable lugged outsole was developed to provide advanced traction for an alternative cold weather must-have. 

Vans continues to expand the All Weather MTE collection with new iterations of the Sk8-Hi MTE and UltraRange Hi MTE, designed for the elements and featuring bright colorways and new prints, as well as updated technology and functionality details.  

SK8-Hi MTE

For added utility updates, Vans introduces the Boa Closure System on the Sk8-Hi MTE. The functional snow boot technology optimizes a secure and precise fit, achieved by a micro-adjustable dial and strong-yet-lightweight laces on Vans latest model, the Sk8-Hi MTE Boa.

 

UltraRange Hi MTE

Inspired by a world of adventure, Vans UltraRange Hi MTE provides advanced comfort, lightweight traction and breathable construction and has been updates to include MTE 360™ technology for all-around warmth and a lugged outsole for increased traction.

Stuff I Wore - VANS All Weather MTE

Vans unveils All Weather MET Footwear and apparel collection, built to endure Mother's Nature's harshest weather conditions from the mountains to the streets. The collection offers an upgraded series of classic Vans footwear and apparel silhouettes that employ weather-resistant technology and construction while staying to Vans' timeless aesthetic.

Designed for the elements, the All Weather MTE collections presents outerwear pieces that mirror Vans's MTE footwear collection. Coated with durable water repellant (DWR), these progressive jackets will keep you warm and dry during the cold and wet winter seasons - perfect for Canadian winter! Don't be fool by some of the mild days we had here in Toronto, winter is not over yet. So, definitely go check out Vans All Weather MTE collection, now in stores.

The jacket I'm wearing is the Kilroy MTE. Very on trend - paying homage to the bomber! I loved that it's hooded - option for extra warmth. And with the bright orange quilted lining?! So cool looking! This is perfect for those crisp, frigid days.

As for the All Weather MET footwear, Vans enhanced models of iconic silhouettes including the Sk8-Hi MTE, Sk8-Hi 46 MTE, and the Old Skool MTE. The collection features premium Scotchgard-treated leather and suede uppers, warm linings and a heat retention layer between the sockliner and outsole to help keep feet warm and dry. A Vans constructed lug outsole takes advantage of over 20 years of snow boot history, infusing timeless style and modern technology into footwear that embraces the cold seasons.

VANS Varsity-Inspired Classics

Vans continues the expansion of its fall Classics season by drawing influence from traditional athletic styling. I'm loving this varsity-inspired collection! I like the textures, from the vintage letterman jackets to a mix of leather and wool materials. Great colours scheme too - loving the combinations of charcoal, grey and navy. With pops of colour highlighted on the Sidestripe, tongue and heel counter.

Vans Late Night Collection

I absolutely love these! Shoes and food - my two fav things : ) Check out Vans latest collection called The Late Night Collection - Patterns and prints celebrating the universal late night snack!

Don't they look great and so much fun? The photo real prints comes in hamburgers, french fries, tacos and pepperoni pizza. These tasty selection of footwear are available for men, women and kids. There are four pairs to choose from: three Authentics and a Classic Slip-On.

If you've got more of a sweet tooth, then the Authentic also comes in rainbow printed macaroons, cute cupcakes and delicious sprinkle topped donuts.

A second rendition of the hamburger is illustrated on the quarter panels of the Sk8-Hi Reissue and the top of the Classic Slip-On treated with Vans' iconic checkerboard accents.

They are now available at selected retailers and online. What do you guys think? Which treat would you pick? These Vans are making me hungry : )

Vans X Disney

I've always been a fan of Disney, who isn't? I'm excited about this - Vans will be launching the "Young at Heart" collection featuring Disney's iconic characters like Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Winnie The Pooh, Goofy and Pluto. It will not only be footwear but also apparel and accessories for both adults and children.

When it comes to the shoes, options includes the Vans Slip-On, Vans Era and Vans SK8 Hi. As for apparel & accessories, there are tees, hats, backpacks and socks.

With the wide rage of choices to choose from, there is bound to be something for everyone, no matter what your age is. What piece are you looking most forward to?

I'm hoping to get my hands on the Mickey and pals Vans SK8 Hi! The "Young at Heart" Vans X Disney collection will be available this June at Vans retail stores. Very excited!!

Stuff I Wore - Checkered

Having a little fun with my outfit with a checkered theme: shirt, sunglasses and sneakers. It wasn't really planned, just noticed when reviewing the pics, lol. Shirt is from J.Crew. I chose to wear it unbutton for a more casual look. Shorts are from Urban Outfitters.

Is it just me? But I just love the graffiti artwork in the background - great colours and goes well with my outfit! : )

 

Sneakers are from Vans (from Urban Outfitters). I really like the colour and style. When you think of Vans, they're usually slip on, however this style have laces. Sunglasses are from Dickies (picked up from Zellers).

 

Accessories: white band from makepovertyhistory.ca, middle bracelet from Mandatory, and beads one is from H&M. Watch from Casio G-Shock.
