Vans Debuts New 360™ Technology in All Weather MTE Collection

I don't want to say this, but winter is around the corner. Time to keep your feet in style yet cozy. This holiday season, Vans debuts MTE 360™ technology that enhances heat retention around the foot and improves moisture management within each shoe. 

The All Weather MTE footwear collection provides premium, water-resistant leather and suede uppers, warm linings and a heat retention layer between the sockliner and outsole. Inspired by Vans’ 20-plus years of snow boot design innovation, a durable lugged outsole was developed to provide advanced traction for an alternative cold weather must-have. 

Vans continues to expand the All Weather MTE collection with new iterations of the Sk8-Hi MTE and UltraRange Hi MTE, designed for the elements and featuring bright colorways and new prints, as well as updated technology and functionality details.  

SK8-Hi MTE

For added utility updates, Vans introduces the Boa Closure System on the Sk8-Hi MTE. The functional snow boot technology optimizes a secure and precise fit, achieved by a micro-adjustable dial and strong-yet-lightweight laces on Vans latest model, the Sk8-Hi MTE Boa.

 

UltraRange Hi MTE

Inspired by a world of adventure, Vans UltraRange Hi MTE provides advanced comfort, lightweight traction and breathable construction and has been updates to include MTE 360™ technology for all-around warmth and a lugged outsole for increased traction.

Geox's Fall Collection - Nebula Trainers

I got the opportunity recently to check out GEOX'S Fall collection and got to pick up a pair too! There were so many beautiful choices! I wanted something that would be causal yet dressy. It must be comfy and of course, looks great! I went with the Nebula trainers - the blue sole got me : )

I love them even more and so glad I picked them : ) I've only been wearing them one time for these pics so far and I could tell you for sure that they're very comfy, super lightweight - like walking on a cloud! My First ECCO Shoes

I own many pairs of shoes (which you can see some by searching #dchiushoes on instagram) I recently received my very first pair of ECCO and they definitely made my feet happy!

The pair I picked were the ECCO Kinhin Mid in the white (also available in black). It combines simple modern design with exceptional materials. I like the sporty yet smart look of them - perfect for work or play. The luxurious, soft leather uppers are set on tonal soles with an on-trend thicker profile, making them very sleek. They're also very light & super comfy!

Some other great facts includes partly leather-lined interior = very soft against skin and wicks away moisture. The leather covered cork inlay sole naturally cushions each step and allows feet to breathe.

ECCO Kinhin Mid

Beautiful and clean silhouette.

Introducing individual footshape memory, this very cool technology - the Corksphere Suspended Footbed can be found in these ECCO Kinhin. The dynamic comfort platform features a unique self-customizing cork footbed suspended within a modern polyurethane cupsole - adding contemporary rebound, cushioning and protection to the performance and feel of conventional cork-soled shoes.

The uppers of the sole are crafted from premium leather, combining a soft and supple footwrap with a premium, natureal look and feel.

Need I say more? These ECCO Kinhin Mid are pretty cool! They make my feet and myself very happy! : ) I'll definitely be adding more ECCO to my shoes collection.

VANS Varsity-Inspired Classics

Vans continues the expansion of its fall Classics season by drawing influence from traditional athletic styling. I'm loving this varsity-inspired collection! I like the textures, from the vintage letterman jackets to a mix of leather and wool materials. Great colours scheme too - loving the combinations of charcoal, grey and navy. With pops of colour highlighted on the Sidestripe, tongue and heel counter.

The Reebok Classics

I've been posting about white kicks a few times now. Here's another fresh all white kicks to add to the list: the Reebok Classics! 

You can't go wrong with the Reebok Classics, it's one of those kicks that will never go out of style. It has a soft garment leather upper which gives you superior comfort. Die-cut EVA midsole provides lightweight cushioning. There's molded PU sockliner which adds comfort and durability. Lastly, the high abrasion rubber outsole gives great traction and durability.

Native Shoes - The All-White Apollo Moc

White kicks are becoming very popular - a definitely must have in your sneaker collection! Check out this lovely pair from Native Shoes!

Native Shoes launched an exclusive limited edition colour-way of one of their newest styles, the Apollo Moc. The Modernized moccasin was released in an all over white microfiber upper and EVA outsole.

Weighing in at 6 ounces a shoe, the all over shell white Apollo Moc is one of Native's lightest silhouettes. The shoe features a shock absorbent EVA outsole with rubber inserts, no-sew construction, and is 100% animal-free. Also featuring a washable perforated upper, these shoes 'keep it lite' and airy throughout summer and into fall.

Haven't heard of Native Shoes? Native Shoes was established in Vancouver, Canada in 2009 with a vision to create ' Future Classics' by combining iconic, casual silhouettes with the best of evolving techonology. Converse - The Chuck Taylor All Star II

For the first time in almost a 100 years, Converse introduces the 'Chuck II', a sleeker, more comfy version of its iconic Chuck Taylor All Stars sneakers.

Don't worry, Chuck II has retained the classic look of the Chuck Taylor. Here are some of the features:

• A Nike "Lunarlon" sockliner for superior full foot cushioning and arch support. It's a lightweight and bouncy foam support found in running and basketball shoes. Note: Converse, which was bought over by Nike in 2003 after it went bankrupt - this is where the Nike connection comes in, if you're wondering...

• There's a padded non-slip tongue, which provides 360-degree comfort around the ankle.

• A perforated micro suede liner for breathability during extended periods of wear.
• A durable premium canvas build complemented with a fully embroidered All Star patch.

The Chuck II comes in four colours - Black, Salsa Red, Sodalite Blue and White. It will be available on 28 July 2015. As for cost, it will be US$15 more than the originals, costing US$75 for the high-top, and US$70 for its low-top version.
