Stuff I Wore - Ugly Sweater

First of all, I'd like to wish you, your family and friends a very Merry Christmas and a happy, healthy new year! Ho, ho, ho - hope santa was good to you : )

It was quite a mild Christmas day we had in Toronto, which I didn't mind. Unfortunately, not a white Christmas. To celebrate, I put on this ugly sweater I picked up from H&M a few weeks back. It's actually not that ugly, right? It's fun and I love the pop of green! To stay with the Christmas theme, I wore a pair of red Levis cords. Even though it wasn't raining, it didn't stop me from wearing these bright yellow Converse All Star Rubber kicks. I'm loving them and it looks like others are too. A lady saw them and told me "Your shoes makes me happy". How cool was that? Spreading joy through my outfit! : )

One of a Kind Christmas Show & Sale 2014 - Tickets Giveaway!

Wow, can you believe it? The One of a Kind Christmas Show & Sale will be celebrating its 40th Anniversary this year. The OOAK continues to be THE place for Canadian handmade items. What's great about the OOAK is that it brings the maker and buyer together! Show-goers have the opportunity to meet the makers and learn the stories and inspirations behind their creations.

The 40th edition of The One of a Kind Christmas Show & Sale will feature over 800 artisans and designers, including 113 NEW makers. It will take place at the Direct Energy Centre, Exhibition Place, Toronto from November 27 - December 7, 2014. For more information or to purchase tickets, go visit their website here.

One of a Kind Christmas Show & Sale 2013

I checked out the One of a Kind Christmas Show & Sale today. Believe it or not, it's actually my very first time (I know! How is that possible?!) However, I have attended the spring show before. Very glad to finally have the chance : )

A mini ice rink!

We got to the Direct Energy Centre at 10am, that was when it opened. Thinking to be there early and beat the crowd. How wrong was I - it was actually pretty busy already, there was a line up of people waiting to go in!! So great to see! People supporting locally handmade stuff!

There was so much to see, do and to eat/sample (the flavours area). I love to check out the Rising Stars area. I, somewhat feel close/relatable to the artisans there, since I too have my own creations: Hello! Stuff and would one day love to be a vendor. Check out my Hello! Stuff Etsy store here.

I really had a great time, and will try to go back before it ends. The show started Nov. 28 and will run until December 8. It's definitely worth checking out. A great place to do ALL your Christmas shopping! Take a look at some of my favourite stuff I saw at the show below.
