Foodee, the Vancouver-based corporate food concierge program has launched in Toronto! The curated corporate meal company has partnered with Toronto's leading chefs and restaurants to deliver Toronto's best in class cuisine directly to the company lunchroom, boardroom or cubicle.
Foodee has made it their mission to solve the biggest problems facing corporate lunch hour: a lack of variety, meals too early or too late, and excessive package waste. Through Foodee's easy-to-use ordering system, offices now have access to easy group ordering and quality cuisine from carefully curated menus from the city's best-in-class restaurants. Paying close attention to its impact on the environment, Foodee uses biodegradable packaging, low emission delivery methods and has partnered with in-office composting programs to lower the carbon "footprint" around the corporate lunch.
"Our goal is to change the corporate lunch hour," says Ryan Spong, CEO of Foodee. "Eating great food together is the ultimate team-building exercise and we want to make that happen with the best food the city has to offer in the easiest way possible."
How it works: Tell the Foodee team how many people you need to feed, what type of food you're craving, dietary restrictions, your price point and Foodee will take care of the rest, ensuring that your food arrives on time, every time. With a low minimum order, customers can order online, by phone or email.
For more information/to sign up, check out their website here. You can also see all the restaurants Foodee partnered with here.
What a neat service - don't you agree? Delicious food being delivered right to your office! Definitely worth mentioning to your workplace and become your officer hero. I guess working through lunch may not be that bad now : )
I was invited to the Foodee launch party last week (pics below), which took place at Brassaii on King St. in Toronto. It was nice meeting CEO, Ryan Spong along with the Foodee team. We also got to enjoy a selection of delicious food and drinks from Foodee's local restaurant partners. Thanks for having me!
