New Balance added to its Fresh Foam collection, introducing the Fresh Foam Zante. Data driven design combined with the smarts of a human creator come together to create a smooth ride that gives you a quick feel with all the qualities of Fresh Foam in a different running experience.

Designed from data gathered from runners at a faster pace, Fresh Foam Zante offers a quick, incredibly smooth heel to toe transition thanks to its aggressive toe spring, helping you feel fast, whatever pace you run.

 

Applying the same software aided process as the Fresh Foam Road and Trail, the New Balance design team took Zante to the next level by studying foot strike and impact tendencies of runners, while moving at a slightly faster pace. Engineered on a new, more form fitting last with a 6mm midsole offset, this update aims to provide wearers with a more aggressive toe spring while bringing them slightly lower to the ground compared to it's 980 counterpart.

Sleek, snug and dialed in for speed, Fresh Foam Zante has a bootie-like design that wraps the foot like a second skin. There is no-sew overlays and a breathable air mesh to complete the clean, technical upper design - Nothing is on the shoe that doesn’t need to be, making it feel like an extension of your foot.

The Fresh Foam Zante is available now for men and women in stores and on line at Newbalance.ca.

Taste of Toronto 2015 & Ticket Giveaway!

Attention all food lovers - Taste of Toronto will be arriving at Toronto's Fort York next week, July 2-5! In its second year, the only North American outpost of the international Taste Festivals is once again offering visitors unique experiences to interact with the country's top culinary talent.

The Fort York will be transformed into a foodie wonderland with eating, drinking and entertainment. The city's latest, greatest and hottest restaurants will be dishing up their finest dishes. There will also be over 70 producers of the best food, beverages and premium brands providing a bountiful food market!

FYI, Taste of Toronto is like a city built in a park with its own currency, Crowns. The whole park operates on the Crown system and all restaurant dishes and anything you wish to purchase from the artisan stalls can be bought with your Crown card. So, load your card up and enjoy!

General tickets start from $19, granting access to one of six lunch or dinner sessions from Friday July 3 through Sunday, July 5. Each session last between 4-5 hours, offers the opportunity for festival-goers to sample dishes from over 16 restaurants, browse the artisan stalls and participant in fresh and exciting programming; including the Taste Theatre, Metro Master Classes, the Tasting Room, a Delta Air Lines VIP Lounge and a Music Stage.

Stuff I Wore - Side Zip Hoodie

I love wearing hoodies and own too many of them. However this particular one caught my eyes - and I just had to get. It was the zippers on the sides - the little details that makes me happy. When I first saw it at H&M, I was debating about getting it. I thought about it for a few days, do I need another hoodie? When I decided that I want it, it was too late. My size was no longer available. But surprisingly, when I went on vacation to Korea back in April, I found it! Plus it was on sale! I guess it was meant to be : )
