It was already available February 14 at select adidas Originals retailers in New York and there will be a global release on February 28. The YEEZY Boost will be limited to 9000 pairs and will cost $350 a piece.

This will be the third signature sneaker from Kanye West, and marks his very first with adidas. The YEEZY Boost features a minimal buy technically superb design, true to Three Stripes form. The upper is comprised of premium suede with a perforated toe box, foot strap and a zip-up closure on the outer side. The look is finished with a white rubber sole with ribbed detailing and comes packed with adidas' Boost cushioning technology for comfort and performance.

Levi's Introduces 501 Customized & Tapered Jeans

The Levi's 501 Jean, the world's first-ever blue jean featuring a timeless straight leg, relaxed fit and signature button fly, has earned its status as the most coveted jean in the world. However, there is now a slight update!

For Spring 2015, Levi's introduces the NEW 501 CT (Customized & Tapered). Jean wearers have been customizing their jeans for decades, most commonly tailoring the legs for a closer fit. This season, Levi's would do the work for you wearers. They took the Original and added a custom taper, crafting the perfect fit for a modern take on the classic 501 jean. The new 501 CT has a little more room at the waist so it sits slightly lower for a more relaxed fit, and Levi's tapered the leg from the knee to the ankle, so you don't have to.

Depending on the size you choose and your desired look, the 501 can be worn slim, regular or more relaxed in the thigh. They are available in a range of authentic denim washes and this new fit is both for men and women.

What  a great idea! Would you give it a try? Levi's 501 CT: Customized and tapered by Levi's. Inspired by you. Check out the fit guide below for the different ways to wear the 501 CT.

Down-sized: for a slim, modern fit

True to size: for a classic, regular fit

Up-sized: for a more relaxed fit

WalkTop Treadmill Desk by Fitneff

I'm a pretty active guy and go to the gym about 3-4 times a week. When I heard about this Treadmill Desk called The WalkTop, I was definitely intrigued.

I attended the media launch last week to check and try out The WalkTop. It's from Canadian company Fitneff (Fitness & Efficiency) - dedicated to creating active solutions for productive lives, making it easier to add daily activity into your busy schedule.

The WalkTop Treadmill Desk is stylish, light and compact -- designed specifically to attach onto the majority of popular treadmills currently on the market. It can be installed in minutes and adjusts effortlessly to individual height requirements so users can position and reposition the desk for optimal ergonomics and comfort. Unlike most treadmill desks, the WalkTop can be set at an incline to be used when reading or when using a tablet.

The WalkTop Treadmill Desk provides lots of health benefits. It reduces sedentary time and chronic diseases associated with "sitting disease", such as heart diseases, cancer and diabetes. It's also good to have at the office - helps increase work productivity by boosting physical activity linked to increases in mood, memory and attention.

I really liked the WalkTop - what a neat idea! It's great for people, like me who enjoy multitasking - allowing you to get work done while getting some exercise at the same time. At the launch event,  I tried using both a tablet and laptop on the WalkTop. It was comfortable when using the tablet: reading and flipping through pages was easy. However, when using the laptop, it felt a little weird when typing while my feet was moving at the same time. It took me a few minutes to get use to. Overall, it was a fun experience.

For more info on the WalkTop or to order one for your home or office - go check out their website here.

EDO Restaurant - Far Beyond Sushi

I was invited to attend an exclusive tasting media event at EDO restaurant last week. The dinner of contemporary Japanese cuisine was held at its Spadina location in Toronto.

It was a wonderful evening filled with drinks & delicious food. The CEO and founder Barry Chaim was present along with chef Ryo Ozawa. I loved that they both had so much passion for what they do, which was shown throughout the evening. From all the great stories Barry shared and the attention to detail in the food/ingredients/presentation as chef Ryo was presenting each dish as it came out from the kitchen - they truly LOVE Japanese cuisine. Not only did I leave with a stomach that was happily satisfy but I also learned a lot about Japanese culture and cuisine!

It was such a neat experience - tasting authentic Japanese dishes. For example, to accompany the sashimi and sushi dish, EDO had real wasabi, not the powdered kind, along with white ginger, not the pink ones. And overall, simply serving fresh fish and ingredients.

We were served over 10 dishes that evening. I loved all of them, but some of my stand out were: Kyu-Maki, Miso Eggplant, Lobster Roll, Tiger Tuna and Kobe Beef, which was cooked right in front of us! Check out all the pics from the event I took.

I'd definitely recommend EDO Restaurant to all the foodies out there or for those who's a fan of Japanese food. For more info or to make a reservation, go check out their website here.

EDO is pleased to extend my readers a special offer! From January 22-31, 2015*, EDO will provide a complimentary appetizer (with the order of any two dishes per person) at any of the four EDO locations providing you use the hashtag #EDOapponme. To receive the appetizer, you'll just have to show their server that you've posted the hashtag live.
*Promotion is not valid at the EDO on Eglinton location on Jan. 30 and 31.

Also, for those who loves Winterlicious - EDO on Eglinton is participating! Check out their menu here.

Converse Celebrates the Creative Spirit of Andy Warhol - Spring 2015

What a great idea - I am loving Converse Spring 2015 All Star collection! I've always been a fan of Andy Warhol and now in Converse latest collection, it will feature iconic Warhol imagery!

Converse recently announced the global debut of the Spring 2015 Converse All Star Andy Warhol Collection in partnership with The Andy Warhol Foundation. Marrying Warhol's distinct vision with the Converse Chuck Taylor All Star, the partnership between two pop culture icons celebrates creative self-expression and pays homage to the visionary artist.

Hailed as the preeminent artist of the 20th century, Warhol was an iconic visionary whose legacy continues to inspire rebels and artists everywhere. He creatively merged American pop culture icons, film, music, screen printing and performance, opening the door for millions of artists and performers.

In Andy Warhol Collection, Converse All Star took one of Warhol's most iconic and recognizable prints, the Campbell's Soup can -  reinterprets and repurposes this screen print. On the high top sneaker, a singular soup can print is utilized in bold primary colours, while the low top stacks the Campbell's Soup cans on top of one another to create a layered pattern that adds depth and dimension, a common technique used by Warhol.

Some other designs featured includes the Campbell's Soup can in classic colours to monochromatic motorcycle prints and newspaper prints inspired from Warhol's ads and illustrations series.

The Spring 2015 Converse Chuck Taylor Andy Warhol collection will be available for purchase starting February 7 at specialty retailers. In Toronto area, they're available at Get Outside, Gravity Pope, Groovy, Little Burgundy, Zelen Shoes, Baggins, and Galaxie Bleu.

What do you think of them? Will you be picking up a pair?
