Peter Pilotto for Target

If you're a fan of Target and their design collaborations, I'm sure you know that their next collaboration is with London-based designer Peter Pilotto! They're best known for their expertise in textiles and print. Unfortunately, the Peter Pilotto for Target collection will only features women's apparel, accessories and swimwear. (Sad face) However I'm still really excited about the collection. It will be available February 9, 2014.

I love the super fun, cool graphic, along with the bright colours and prints: it just makes me happy when I see them. The collection is so perfect for Spring/Summer. Check out the look book here!

Check out some of my favourite looks/pieces on this post. Eventhough, there's nothing for the guys - I will definitely still go try and get my hands on some of the great accessories.

Isabel Marant pour H&M - November 14!

If you're like me, a fan of retailer collaborations - I'm sure you have it already marked down on your calendar. The wait is almost over, the launch of the Isabel Marant pour H&M is just two days away! The collection will be available in selected stores on Novemeber 14, 2013.

Isabel Marant is a Parisian designer who has created a widely influential and successful take on Paris chic. Mixing urban attitude, boho elegance and rock 'n' roll spirit, she delivers a genuine French allure.
The collection features clothing and accessories for not only women, but teens and for the very first time, a collection for men! (Nice!)

 

Marant has assembled an eclectic wardrobe of must-have urban staples with trademark Parisian flair. Concrete-jungle tones of black, charcoal and gray brightened by touches of white and red mingle in the colour palette.

As mentioned before, very excited about Marant's doing her first men's collection! It includes precisely tailored outerwear and chunky knits, leather biker pants matched with tie-dye t-shirts and western-style jeans and shirts.

I attended the media preview of the collection last week.  Seeing the collection up close was a treat. I really like the colour palette: mainly black and white with a touch of red. The quality and details in the pieces was very nice. There were some very similar looking pieces/style throughout the women, men & teens collection.  It's a matter of sizing - I won't be surprise if the ladies will shop the men or teen's collection.

Is it just me, but I find the price point a little high compared to past H&M collaborations?! Anyways, I won't think it will be a problem. The collection will sell like hot cakes. Are you guys ready? I'm a Dreamer Apparel - A Clothing Company with a Message

I first stumbled upon I'm a Dreamer Apparel through twitter by noticing (being a graphic designer) their cool looking logo. Then I looked them up, and was glad that I did -  a great local company creating some great looking apparel! (Kinda like me! Check out my creations, Hello! Stuff here : ) Not only great looking, but I love the message behind it. Note: Images are from their website and items are from their summer collection.

I'm a Dreamer Apparel is a line of clothing with a focus on graphic and typographic aesthetics. A hybrid of high fashion and street wear, their aim is to inspire individuals to pursue their dreams. I love the design (playing with types and graphics) and thoughts on their graphic Ts. With lines/Quotes like 'I'm a Dreamer', 'Dream Bigger' and 'The Struggle is part of the story', are all very inspirational. I like how it sends a positive message to not only the person who's wearing it but also for everyone who sees it. It reminds us all to pursue what we love to do!

I'm loving my 'Do what you love, love what you do' tank - thank you! I'm now a fan, and can't wait to see what's available for Fall/Winter 2013. Check out some pics/looks on how I wore my I'm a Dreamer tank top.
