My Hello! Stuff at OCADU Book Arts Fair!

Just wanted to share with you an event that I will be apart of this weekend. It's the 29th Annual Book Arts Fair at OCAD University presented by the printmaking department. Come and browse the uniquely handmade and crafted works by many artists, printmakers, students and professional artists! For more info, you can check out their Facebook event page.

The fair is happening Saturday, November, 30th from 10am to 5pm at OCAD U's Great Hall, 100 McCaul St. Come by and do some of your Christmas shopping! You'll definitely find some neat, and one of a kind gifts.

New this year - there will be live performances, poetry readings, and kid friendly crafting thoughout the day. Come by, shop and have some fun!

I will have a table at the fair, selling my creations - Hello! Stuff. If you don't know by now, I've created a line of fun, cool t-shirts & accessories. You can read more about Hello! Stuff here. I also have an Etsy store where you can purchase some of my stuff! 

So, come by and say hi. Below are some of images of the stuff I will be selling. There will be t-shirts, tote bags and Ties. However, there are more stuff where I don't have available on Etsy. There will be greeting cards, notebooks, sketchbooks, bookmarks, gift tags, and magnet sets! Not only that, the prices will be marked down from what you see on my Etsy store, plus no tax or shipping fee : )

Earth Day - Tote Bag Giveaway!

Earth Day is tomorrow, April 22. I always try to do my best to help out the environment. One small way is to cut down on plastic bags and use re-useable tote bags.

I'm sure everyone have tons of them - but are any of them as fun, cool or cute as my creation? : )

FYI - These tote bags are my creation! They are part of my Hello! Stuff by David Chiu collection. There are 3 fun designs: Robots, Skulls and Penguins!

Just wanted to wish the best place on earth, Canada a very Happy Birthday!! FYI, Canada will be turning 145 years old! Still looks great, eh?! Enjoy the day and don't forget to wear your red and white proudly.

Thank you for giving me the opportunity - I really enjoy designing posters. I use to collect them - movie posters that is, and have binders full of them. My dream would be to one day get the chance to design one for a Hollywood movie : )

Gap + Threadless T-shirts

So great to see Gap and Threadless working together to bring very cool t-shirt designs to a much bigger audience. Threadless for those who don't know - is an online community that makes t-shirts designed by people like you.

I am a big graphic t-shirt fan = I love Threadless! I think I own more than 15 Threadless Ts!

You can actually design the next batch of t-shirts that will be sold in Gap stores worldwide. Go check out the challenge here. Good luck!

My Hello! Stuff

I guess it's time to do some self promotion : ) Not sure if you guys had click on the Hello! stuff button to the left.....if yes, thanks! If you haven't, why not?? Go check my stuff out!!

Well, I started my own line of graphic t-shirts and accessories in late 2006 called Hello! stuff. It all started out with t-shirts and then grew to include buttons, magnets, greeting cards, tote bags, notebook, and most recently ties!

Ties! I hand silk screen printed them myself!!

The reason it began with graphic t-shirts was due to my love for them, I have TONS! I can pretty much wear a different T each day, for like, half of the year!! (I know - it's crazy!) I figured, it would be so cool if I have my own collection of Ts with my own design - even cooler if I see stranger's wearing them! I've always like to be a fashion designer - so I guess, this is pretty close : )

Happy Canada Day!

Just wanted to wish Canada a very Happy Birthday!!! Happy 144th to be exact.

Hope everyone will have a great and fun long weekend - go out and enjoy the great summer weather! I, myself will be going camping with the family.

Don't forget to also celebrate the great country we live in! O' CANADA!!
