Hope everybody is enjoying 2019 so far. The first show of the year that I always look forward to check out is The Interior Design Show. It is happening at the Metro Convention Centre from January 17-20. Due to new floor plan and additional space needed, IDS19 will move to the south building, instead of the north building.
IDS19 will be in its 21th year, showcasing hot topic design trends and the most innovative of international and Canadian design. An incubator of ideas, the show hosts the most influential design minds of today, curates feature exhibitions and collaborations, and is a platform to launch never-before-seen products. IDS is a total design experience!
At this show, IDS will celebrate the "Power of Design" and is expanding and evolving its currect offerings to include IDS Contract (reason for the new location at the MCC) a hyper-curated B2B trade-only exposition and conference focused on all verticals of design.
Lots of great speakers that will definitely inspire and educate visitors. One very interesting speaker at the IDS19 is Questlove! That's right, the musical director for The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, where is beloved Roots crew serves as house band. It's time to come out of the dark this winter and into the light! I love a great event especially a very cool one like this - The Toronto Light Festivalat The Distillery District. This is the first year and you won't want to miss it.

Come and see the beautiful Distillery District transform into an open-air gallery, lighting up the winter night with installations from creative Canadian and International light artists. Attention shoppers - NEON Clothing recently opened it's very first store in Toronto! They are an established retailer in Quebec for over 30 years but now they are located in one of the hippest districts in the world - Toronto location at 501 Queen Street West.
I recently checked out the store and absolutely loved it. I heard of NEON before, so it was very nice to actually visit the store. First off, a great location! Secondly, NEON carries lots of great brands. Thirdly, a very cool environment to shop at!

The Gentlemen's Expo is back again! It will take place at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre next weekend, September 25-27, 2015. I've been attending the expo for the past 2 years and can't wait to go back this year. It's a fun event, lot's to see, do and taste : )

As you may know, I'm a huge fan of H&M and I've got a very exciting news to share to all the men's shoppers out there. The H&M at Eaton Centre had recently reopened with a brand new men's department - H&M Man. This beautiful new space will carry all of the existing men's H&M concepts, including designer and capsule collections.
You guys must go check out the newly expansion space - it's more spacious to shop than before and of course much more selections. I was there a few days ago and I'm really loving the new space! Check out the pics below or even better, drop by in person and see it for yourself!

This expansion project at the H&M Eaton Centre is not done yet. Part of the new ladies space just opened this past week, with the reminder opening as the fall season approaches. Kids, the new Beauty department and the highly anticipated HOME collection will launch in the new year - and that's when the whole store will have a really GRAND reopening. So, lots to look forward to - stay tuned!
