Time to RRROLL UP THE RIM TO WIN!!

It's that time of year - Tim Horton's Rrroll up the Rim to Win time!!! So excited!! It's actually the 25th year of Roll Up the Rim to Win. This is the time when I will pretty much go visit a Timmy and buy a hot beverage everyday - lol. It's fun rolling up the rim, even better if it's a winning tab!

It begins on Monday February 21, 2011! Any Medium, large or extra large size hot beverage will be eligible. Prizes this year are:

40 Toyota Matrix
100 Panasonic 3D TV Package
1000 Nepoleon Barbecues
5000 Raleigh Mountain Bikes
25 000 $100 Tim Cards
and over 47 million Food prizes

Food prizes includes: Coffee: you may select ANY size of hot beverage
Donut: you may select either, any variety of one donut, muffin or cookie

(Too bad, no Apple products this year, like the Shuffle they had a couple years ago. Oh well....)

Oh btw good news- apparently the number of available food prizes in the contest have increased from 31 million in 2010 to more than 47 million for 2011!! NICE!!!

Why you might ask? (not like it matters) But it seems like it's due to Facebook, Twitter, Youtube and blog posts. With more people using social media in the past years - many are sharing their rolling experiences. For example, twitting and facebook status about how few of their cup bought are winning ones. (wow-the power of social media) Well, that is good news for us!!

Good luck everyone. Time to RRRoll up the Rim!! : )

Doughnut + Leafs = WINS?!

Did you hear? Tim Hortons is offering a doughnut covered in blue-and-white sprinkles whenever the Leafs play a home game.
Will the doughtnuts help the Leafs pull off more wins?! I do watch/follow a 'little' hockey, and noticed that they are not doing too well. I guess anything will be good.
If it doesn't work for the Leafs, it will still probably bring in more sales for Tim Hortons.
I love sweets, so I will definitely give it a try. Now,when is the Leafts next home game?
