Converse Chuck Taylor All Star II GUM!

Launched in Canada just last week, the Converse Chuck Taylor All Star II Gum collection for Spring/Summer 2017 is another iteration of the iconic Chuck Taylor All Star II style. The Chuck Taylor All Star II Gum is given a subtle new look with the addition of both a gum rubber sidewall and toe cap. A tencel canvas upper continues to elevate the sneaker, along with a Nike Lunarlon sockliner and a super soft micro suede lining for comfort.

The Chuck II Gum is available in both low top and high top styles. Available colours includes: black, white, herbal and obsidian. They're available at Foot Locker, Hudson's Bay, Little Burgundy and Sport Chek, with a suggested retail price of $80-$85 CAD.

Converse - Counter Climate Boots Collection

Like it or not, Winter will soon come our way. Why not welcome it with a cool pair of boots?  Part of the Counter Climate Collection, Converse introduces the Converse Chuck Taylor All Star II Boot.

Function and styles go hand-in-hand with this season's Counter Climate Boots, sneaker boots that have been reimagined to provide superior protection with waterproof and water repellent features such as insulated booties.

Bridging fashion with winter footwear, the Converse Chuck Taylor All Star II Boot features a premium, mesh-backed waterproof leather. This will be the first waterproof sneaker boot crafted to help keep feet warm and dry in harsh winter conditions (perfect for our Toronto Winter) while maintaining the classic Chuck Taylor look and feel.

A waterproof bootie construction with a neoprene collar and heel pull are included to help keep water completely out of the boot while a 360-degree heat barrier helps keep feet warm. The boot also features a rugged, post-applied weatherized gum outsole with deep grooves for better traction and a Nike Lunarlon foot bed for enhanced cushioning.

Converse Chuck Taylor All Star II - Shield Canvas

Perfect for this Fall/Winter season, Converse is taking the elements of weather into consideration. The Converse Climate Shield Canvas Footwear Collection combines the classic sneaker designs with premium weatherized features. The new collection provides the necessary tools to combat the climate shifts while emphasizing essential weather-beating benefits. The collection features a bold mix of colours and materials including water repellent canvas and waterproof neoprene. They will stand up against unpredictable inclement weather.

The Converse Chuck Taylor All Star II Shield Canvas sneaker combines the enhanced comfort of a Nike Lunarlon Sockliner, non-slip padded tongue and micro-suede lining with materials that can also withstand most climate challenges. Converse has added a water repellent Shield Canvas and a gusseted tongue, as well as removing the medial eyelets to make a durable sneaker that is ready for wet and rainy adventures. The sneakers also feature reflective heel webbing and barrel laces for added visibility in low light environments.

Converse Chuck II - Knit Collection

Converse continues to expand its very popular Chuck Taylor All Star II with the Knit collection. Perfect for the spring and summer season, it features ultra-thin and tightly interwoven knit material. They're available in both low Ox and high-top styles and comes in eye-catching colours inspired by the kaleidoscopic light shows at music festivals.

You can expect all the Chuck II features: A Nike Lunarlon sockliner, a nonslip padded tongue and an ultra-soft micro-suede lining for the extra comfort, monochrome matte eyelets and a fully embroidered All Star ankle patch.

Converse Chuck II - Reflective Print Collection

How cool is this? Revolutionary Chuck ll unveiled with inventive light reflecting graphics! Following the successful Fall 2015 launch of Chuck ll sneakers, the latest incarnation launching in Spring is the Reflective Print Collection. Continuing the Chuck ll journey, but updated with a series of street-ready prints that bounce striking patterns when hit by bursts of light in low-light environments.

"When creating the latest version of our successful Chuck ll sneaker, we were inspired by our consumers and being able to further enhance their creative and active lifestyles" said Ryan Case, Converse Product Director. Converse Chuck Taylor All Star II - Seasonal Colours

Converse unveils two new seasonal colours of the Chuck Taylor All Star II. Available in a bold grey Thunder and an eye-catching maroon Bordeaux. These new colours embrace the upcoming holiday season and are a perfect compliment to the original four colours. This will be the first seasonal collection for the Converse Chuck Taylor All Star II since its debut on July 28, 2015.

The two new seasonal colours are available now, for a suggested retail price of $75 CAD (ox) and $80 CAD (hi-top) at select retailers.

Converse - The Chuck Taylor All Star II

For the first time in almost a 100 years, Converse introduces the 'Chuck II', a sleeker, more comfy version of its iconic Chuck Taylor All Stars sneakers.

Don't worry, Chuck II has retained the classic look of the Chuck Taylor. Here are some of the features:

• A Nike "Lunarlon" sockliner for superior full foot cushioning and arch support. It's a lightweight and bouncy foam support found in running and basketball shoes. Note: Converse, which was bought over by Nike in 2003 after it went bankrupt - this is where the Nike connection comes in, if you're wondering...

• There's a padded non-slip tongue, which provides 360-degree comfort around the ankle.

• A perforated micro suede liner for breathability during extended periods of wear.
• A durable premium canvas build complemented with a fully embroidered All Star patch.

The Chuck II comes in four colours - Black, Salsa Red, Sodalite Blue and White. It will be available on 28 July 2015. As for cost, it will be US$15 more than the originals, costing US$75 for the high-top, and US$70 for its low-top version.
