OLANG - The Boot with Grips!

You heard right - boots with grips! Yes, this is true! OLANG, the winter boot with pivoting grip, built to increase traction on ice and snow. How cool is that? These are perfect for winter in Canada. It comes in styles for men, women and children (no grips).

Created in 1990 and celebrating its 25 anniversary this year, OLANG was the first brand to offer the Canadian market fashion boots made in Europe and equipped with the OC System's built-in swivelling and folding ice cleats, a proprietary system developed in Italy by the OC System Co.

I have a pair & love them! They have grips - how neat is that?! They're easy to use - Grip on, you can step comfortably and securely on icy/snow surfaces. Grip-off, you can walk on any floor without worrying about damaging it. They work great and very well made. Lastly, Olang boots look great/stylish & super comfy. Converse All Star Winter Collection

Converse All Star Winter collection embraces the season with winterized elements such as rugged boot silhouettes and warm materials; leather, shearling and knit.

All new this season, Converse introduces the Chuck Taylor All Star Combat Boot, a new men's silhouette with easy-on, easy-off access, perfect for winter outings. As for the women, there's the Chuck Taylor All Star Platform Plus Collar which features a burnished sueded material and padded collar upper.

The Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Winter collection is now available in stores. Which style do you like?

Combat Boot:

Timberland Fall/Winter 2014 Collection

I attended a preview event for Timberland's Fall collection a few weeks back. It was at Toronto's Bellwoods Brewery. Who knew that boots and beers goes together?  With over 40 years, Timberland is known for quality and craftsmanship. Well, same goes with Bellwoods Brewery, a locale that holds craftsmanship in the same high regard. I got to mingle with Toronto's tastemakers and experienced a rugged to refined beer tasting curated by Timberland's Josh McKellar and Bellwood's Brewmasters.

What a nice idea - A rugged to refined style & tasting collaboration! I had a great time and included some pics from the event below.
