I love HK-style egg bubble waffles! When I heard that Golden Bubbles had combined their best tasting HK bubble waffles with Mac & Cheese, I had to try!!
Just take a look at it - how could you say no?! It was very tasty - loved that it was both savory and sweet! Yummy! Definitely worth trying!
This brand new Mac & Cheese HK waffle will be available from June 8 - 10 at the Mac & Cheese festival in Mississauga.
After that, the Mac & Cheese HK waffle will be available for a limited time at their Sky City store in Scarborough from June 14 - 28 for a limited supply per day.

For those who are not familiar with The Captain's Boil, it's a Cajun seafood boil restaurant chain. Putting a spin to the traditional Louisiana Creole-inspired crawfish boil recipe,it is a unique yet messy experience like no other. You can look forward to a steaming hot concoction of lobster, king crab legs, shrimp, clams, mussels, corn and potatoes which is served in a bag. You can pick your level of spice and toss the seafood into their blend of secret, Asian-inspired sauces: Cajun Cajun, Lemon Pepper, Garlic Sauce or Captain's Boil (mix of all three). There are also fresh oysters, side dishes and lunch specials.

Hawthorne Food & Drink - #DoGood
From my instagram postings, you guys know how much I love to eat. I recently checked out this restaurant called Hawthorne Food & Drink and I really enjoyed it. Not only the food but also how they give back to the community! The food was delicious - it's 'Farm-to-Fork City Food' made from local, seasonal and sustainable ingredients! Plus, they provides free training and career development for people in need of skills and employment.
Hawthorne Food & Drink is a social enterprise of Hospitality Workers Training Centre, a non-profit organization that trains unemployed individuals and links them to jobs in the hospitality industry. How great is that? For more info on how HF&D support the community, click here.
Hawthorne's Executive Chef is Ricky Casipe. He's only 25 years old and is passionate about the concept of 'Farm-to-Fork-City Food'. It reflects his support for Ontario and celebration for Toronto. He uses every culture and neighbourhood in the city as an inspiration to create his dishes.

Hawthorne Food & Drink is definitely worth trying. It was my first time experiencing the concept of 'Farm-to-Fork-City Food'. There's really a difference in the taste - fresh, great, strong flavors & very tasty! Not to mention - the food was beautifully presented! Also, the service was top notch!

Taste of Toronto - June 23-26
Attention all food lovers - Taste of Toronto is coming up very soon. Mark your calendar: June 23-26 at the Garrison Common Fort York. Some of Toronto's most respected restaurants and chefs will gather for the third annual Taste of Toronto! (Note: Pics here are taken by me from last year )
This premier food festival will keep foodies busy with hands-on cooking classes with the city's best chefs, live demonstrations/entertainment, a lively marketplace and of course, tasting the finest flavours and cuisine that Toronto has to offer. There's something for everyone!
There will be over more than 50 mouth-watering signature dishes from over 20 of the hottest chefs and shop from more than 60 artisan producers and premium brands!
Some of the new restaurants joining this year's line up is Miku, Nota Bene, Mamakas, Alo, Piano Piano, Antler, Kanpai, and Carver. Some of the returning favourites includes McEwan Group, Richmond Station, The Drake Hotel and Los Colibris. Each pop-up restaurant will offer three signature dishes at the event. Vans Late Night Collection
I absolutely love these! Shoes and food - my two fav things : ) Check out Vans latest collection called The Late Night Collection - Patterns and prints celebrating the universal late night snack!
Don't they look great and so much fun? The photo real prints comes in hamburgers, french fries, tacos and pepperoni pizza. These tasty selection of footwear are available for men, women and kids. There are four pairs to choose from: three Authentics and a Classic Slip-On.
If you've got more of a sweet tooth, then the Authentic also comes in rainbow printed macaroons, cute cupcakes and delicious sprinkle topped donuts.
A second rendition of the hamburger is illustrated on the quarter panels of the Sk8-Hi Reissue and the top of the Classic Slip-On treated with Vans' iconic checkerboard accents.
They are now available at selected retailers and online. What do you guys think? Which treat would you pick? These Vans are making me hungry : )
