Stuff I Wore - Uniqlo!

I'm sure by now you all have heard that Uniqlo had finally arrived in Canada! There are TWO locations: Toronto Eaton Centre and Yorkdale Shopping Centre. Have you visited/shopped there yet?

I'm a fan of Uniqlo and in this 'Stuff I Wore' post, I'd be featuring some items from Uniqlo - jeans and the hoodie.

I love hoodies in general and now had added another one to my collection. This white Dry Stretch Long Sleeve Sweat Full-zip Hoodie is part of Uniqlo's active line. It's super soft and comfy - perfect for layering and for the Fall season! The hoodie features: Fiber technology that quickly absorbs and dries moisture. Perspiration dries up instantly, so the fabric remains dry and refreshing.

Uniqlo offers a wide selections of denim. This is actually my very first pair of jeans from Uniqlo. I'm not sure what took me so long. They are great, super comfy and I absolutely love the fit! I went with the Stretch Selvedge Skinny Fit Tapered jeans style.

Kenzo & H&M Campaign

Who's counting down? Check out the Kenzo x H&M campaign images by the iconic fashion and music image maker Jean-Paul Goude. The campaign features globally celebrated personalities from fashion, music, arts and activism: Chance The Rapper, Iman, Rosario Dawson, Chloe sevigny, Xiuhtezcati Martinez and rapper Suboi.

For the campaign, Goude has used his signature hand-made cut-up style, slicing and reassembling the prints to express the exuberance and character of the collection.

Mark your calendar, the Kenzo x H&M collection will be available in over 250 H&M stores worldwide, as well as online, from November 3, 2016! Who's excited?

Converse - Counter Climate Boots Collection

Like it or not, Winter will soon come our way. Why not welcome it with a cool pair of boots?  Part of the Counter Climate Collection, Converse introduces the Converse Chuck Taylor All Star II Boot.

Function and styles go hand-in-hand with this season's Counter Climate Boots, sneaker boots that have been reimagined to provide superior protection with waterproof and water repellent features such as insulated booties.

Bridging fashion with winter footwear, the Converse Chuck Taylor All Star II Boot features a premium, mesh-backed waterproof leather. This will be the first waterproof sneaker boot crafted to help keep feet warm and dry in harsh winter conditions (perfect for our Toronto Winter) while maintaining the classic Chuck Taylor look and feel.

A waterproof bootie construction with a neoprene collar and heel pull are included to help keep water completely out of the boot while a 360-degree heat barrier helps keep feet warm. The boot also features a rugged, post-applied weatherized gum outsole with deep grooves for better traction and a Nike Lunarlon foot bed for enhanced cushioning.

The Counter Climate Boot Collection is now available at Converse retail stores, select retailers and on Converse.com.

UNIQLO Opens First Canadian Store!

I don't know about you, but I'm super excited about the first Uniqlo opening in Canada - FINALLY! : )

Uniqlo launches its first Canadian store at the CF Toronto Eaton Centre Friday, September 30. It will feature a range of core items for men, women, kids and babies. In addition to the brand's signature items such as Ultra Light Down, HEATTECH, Cashmere, Extra Fine Merino, Jeans and Oxford Shirts, the store will see the North American debut of the brand's most recent line of Uniqlo U.

Make sure to stop by during opening weekend, there will be special promotional prices on popular core items including the Ultra Light Down Parkas and Extra Fine Merino sweaters.

Lucky me - I got to attend the pre-opening party last night. I had a blast - I was pretty much like a kid in a candy store, lol. Check out some pics and more info below.

Stuff I Wore - Joe Fresh Fall Collection

I can't believe that Fall is already here. Eventhough Summer is my fav season, I do always look forward to Fall fashion! All the great colours and layering up opportunities! I've been wearing nothing but t-shirts & tank tops this summer. So, it was a great feeling to put on a long sleeve for a change : ) You can't go wrong with a button down shirt - make it a plaid one, the print/pattern for the season! It's the perfect layering piece too. There are many great colour to pick from, but I have a thing for green, so I went with this dark green shade.

I've been wearing jogger pants pretty much everyday for the past six months. Not only because I like the way it looks but mostly because they're super comfy! I was so happy to see these twill jogging pants and picked a pair up right away. The twill fabric is perfect for the Fall cooler weather and I just love the fit!

As mentioned before, Joe Fresh fashion are very reasonable priced. I picked up my whole outfit for under $100! That's 3 pieces; a plaid shirt, twill jogging pant and active jacket!
